about the find:
Two things that I am really into are radio broadcasting and books. So I was very pleased to find this bookmark in an old Agatha Christie first (British) edition. (The book was released in the U.S. as "And Then There Were None" "MIENTRAS LEO OIGO" translates to "I listen and read."responses:

it is amazing that even at its original release that a title like this wouldn't hurt book sales. Maybe we don't understand the social climate at that time in England or some other elusive meaning that Agatha meant to convey with her title. We will never know....will we?

The Title reflected the times - I certainly would not object to a book called Ten little Limies - or Ten little White Honkys get real!
