about the find:
A book from my own collection, received together with a whole box of other fleamarket books. The books had actually been thrown out because nobody wanted to buy them, so I decided to rescue them to see if I could use any of them. The book itself was published in 1929, and seems to be an ex-library copy with stamps all over the first and last few pages. What's especially interesting about it is that it was a library book both in the US, and then obviously later on in Innsbruck, Austria - the dark round stamp is an old one from Innsbruck's public library.
It probably ended up in Austria via the Victory Book Campaign that's mentioned on one of the stamps.
