about the find:

An older book that was given to me by someone who inherited her from her uncle. The book is a collection of random quotes from works of various famous writers and was published in the 1940s.

The bookmark I discovered between its pages is made of some sort of fabric, the image is machine-stitched and advertises a fashion house of some sorts. (Needless to say that this fashion house doesn't exist anymore...)

Someone put the fabric between two sheets of transparent plastic, neatly tied together with pink ribbons to make a bookmark out of it.
