about the find:

how appropriate that "The Reaper Man" has a rizla as a bookmark (for those that don't know, rizla is a famous brand of cigarette rolling papers). I've pretty much given up smoking since then.

i used to like the little riddles they'd put on the rizlas, though; this one's saying "red alert" -get it?
Another one had a rizla packet with loads of legs coming out of it. Took me ages to realise it meant it was on its "last legs"!

about the book:

In the eleventh Discworld novel, Death is missing – presumed . . . er . . . gone.Which leads to the kind of chaos you always get when an important public service is withdrawn. Meanwhile, on a little farm far, far away, a tall dark stranger is turning out to be really good with a scythe. There’s a harvest to be gathered in.From the Trade Paperback edition.
