I bought this book in a second hand book shop in Lampeter, I think it cost 10p.responses:
"DISCARDED" as in "WORTHLESS", "USELESS", "UNLOVED".how heartless the Bracknell Forest Borough Council employee who branded that terrible word into this book. It means that no-one wanted to read the book, it was slung aside, forgotten, discarded.
