about the find:

Successive family members (not my family) have signed their names into what was obviously a family heirloom.

you can also see faint pencil tickmarks throughout the text - someone evidently studied it very closely.

I find it interesting to compare the text between this and modern King James bibles; there are quite a few differences

PS: I wasn't the one who taped up a bible from 1846..

i found an old wedding invitation or similar card in my old family bible. from the mid 1800's aswell. i have to look it up again after seeing this
