a paperclip! what an ingenious bookmark.This one is a little odd, though, as it holds not merely one solitary page, but a whole bundle of pages together - pages 245-252 are held by this paperclip, for why we shall never know.

hmm. Good question! I'll have another look at the book when I go back home on Weds and I'll have an answer for you by Boxing day :-)
I'm guessing that the book was published in '58.
